Is there a horrendous burning desire to buy pretty much every flavour and two dozen clearomizers to keep them in so I can swap at will?

Oh deary deary me... questions at bottom in bold.

By the way, for those interested, I got my kit with 2xego 650(?) batts and also picked up an 1300 Ego-CTwist which I absolutely love already.

Ended up getting the ego ce4 standards and they are working great, filled one with menthol and the other with grape. But now I'm curious...

Do people buy a lot of these clearomizers (say of different colours) and fill them with different flavours?

Is there an evaporation problem with that?

Also, when say the menthol one runs out, should I be looking at cleaning it first then refilling with cola (or whatever) or just dry burn and then refill with new flavour?

Forgot to ask - can i store them on their side or do i have to keep them stood upright constantly? It's a bit of a tricky issue with the tall and slim 1300 !

It's a good idea to have a few different flavours 'on the go', as if you stick with the same flavour all day your tastebuds can get used to it and it can seem a bit blunted/insipid. Swapping between flavours every so often helps with this, but as you say, it means having a few atties/cartos/clearos as well, but this isn't a bad thing.... to have those extra atties/cartos/clearos means you first have to have vapemail and we all luv de vapemail. ;)

eidted to add:

Different coloured clearos help to quickly identify which flavour is which and it's a common practice.

Eliquid is slow to evaporate, especially if it's sealed inside a clearo. A bigger issue might be the juice getting oxidised (going a dark colour and altering the flavour) when left in sunlight.

Menthol is one of those flavours that tends to 'stick around' so if you use a menthol eliquid, it's advisable to keep a clearo solely for menthol and just clean/dry burn as needed.

Oh, and especially with the CE4s you are better keeping them upright or they risk flooding. You can get wee stands, or if you're a cheaparse like me, big wad o' blu-tac and ram it in. :D

That's really helpful guys, thank you.

So moving on to next question which is the fault of Skitty ....

If CE4s flood/leak when sideways, is there a similar clearo which will fit onto these 510 compatible batteries that i can buy in shiny different colours to differentiate between flavours that you can recommend which won't flood so much?

Sorry ;)

Most leaks are caused by worn/ill fitting o-rings in atties or by the wicks getting overfed and leaking from the coil head into the mouthpiece/drip tip.

A low tech solution is to put a bit of kitchen roll into the mouthpiece to catch any stray liquid coming from there when not upright. Changing the o-rings can help with some set ups (such as carto tanks) but I'd imagine they'd be a pain to do on CE4s.

Evods are less prone to this as are protanks, evods come in a range of colours but can crack with some juices, protanks dont crack but are available in a very limited range of coloured glass tubes.

I use Evod Bccs, they come in different colours and don't leak, I recommend them because you can buy replacement heads so they are reusable.
