What's new

My first mod build, humble as it is

Where did you get the 510 connector? I'm quite interested in making my own mod (hopefully with a DNA20/30) but wasn't sure which was the best kind of 510 to use, as the bottoms can be different.

I got a few different connectors from a vendor here in the US. I've only tried one kind and I'm not crazy about them. They were advertised as being smaller which for me probably means harder to work with.

Try stealthvape he has vamo top caps in stock (sometimes)

OP's mod is actually really cool! Needless to say that I sure wouldn't be ashamed of using it in public and showing it off.

Well hello ! Do you do any 5 string versions ? Sterling work mate.

Thanks! Never could figure out a five string! These are mostly based on ukes, as far as tuning goes. Stretch the scale and put steel strings on, still the same chord structures. Sometimes make other odd hybrids, a bass string thrown in, etc, sometimes a neck like a mountain dulcimer so there's no "bad notes"-

Thanks a lot! I gotta strange idea of what looks good sometimes, often enjoying what others find to be ugly!
I keep it topped with an I-go w and use it around home a good deal.

Aah right. I looked & i just saw banjo's without much of a thought. I can see now yes. Great anyway, saucepans a presume ! Once when i was touring in Scotland i made a really rough biscuit tin banjo with a roof batten neck. Very sloppy but i did get a tune or two out of it. My tool kit was one step up from a swiss army knife. Great to see those kind of builds going on.
