I just mixed my first juice today. And what can i say? i found a new hobby. But i was hoping to get some feed back. I used POTV calculator and made a 10ml bottle of banana cherry.
my results:
1.7 ml of nicotine with a 36 base
6.3ml vg
1 ml of banana flavoring
1 ml of cherry flavoring

The over all flavor was kinda week but still there and had a almost reminded me of a medicine

More and more Vapers are turning to DIY liquid these days ... :) ... I use e-juice me up calculator and its pretty much the same to the POTV's one... Try to UP the flavour %a bit if you see you get weaker flavour or you can try to steep it for a few days and try it again .. There are different ways of steeping ..... Just Google it out and see for yourself...

I am new to mixing too... I use about 15%- 30% of flavour ... Depends on the strength of the flavour you are mixing ..am still experiencing with my first mix... It takes a little time to perfect a recipe the way you want it...

Good luck

You too! Made the same mix but with all banana (just looking to use up the rest of the tiny flavoring bottle) and it was amazing

I would say you need more pg in there. Aim at 50/50 to start with. Too much vg and you get little flavour. I aim at about 20% flavouring. Ejuicemeup is a good bit of software as you can save your recipes.

I would do 50/50 but I really enjoy my subohming and cloud chasing

For my 1st mix, I wanted to do something really nice like 3 flavour shots from the beginingLol... I mixed

5.5%strawberry,
3.7%banana and
0.8% mix mietow(like mint)
Totalling 10% of flavouring
I like 60%pg/40vg ratio

It was nice but I couldn't get the strawberry flavour too much.. It was much more like banana and minty and very very little strawbery :(

Now I will try with a 15%-20% flavour and see what happens :)

+1 for this mate ... It really helps you compare to your old (gone bad recipes) and save them too :)

I love strawberry, but I find steeping helps it a lot, even a couple of days I find is quite noticeable. I give my mix a good shake whenever I can and leave the lid off while steeping. Strawberry Menthol is great because if the strawberry isn't coming through yet then at least I have a nice menthol, and when the strawberry starts coming through it's heaven.

Hmmm ... Thanks for sharing this I will definitely give this a try tomorrow .. BTW what ratios do you mix.. Just to have an idea ? :)

My Strawberry Menthol is 30/70, 15% Strawberry, 10% menthol concentrate. I could do with a higher strawberry percentage, but until I get more flavouring I'm keeping it at 15%. My menthol concentrate is made by filling half a 10ml bottle with menthol crystals (from chemists) and then filling it up with PG and giving it a good shake. This ejuice is quite high menthol though I believe - I have gradually worked up to this concentration. If you decided to make menthol concentrate in the same fashion as mine, then starting at 3% menthol wouldn't be a bad place to start. As my juice is reasonably high in VG, then flavour takes longer to dilute I believe, which is why I find a few days of steeping and the strawberry starts coming through nicely. Hope this helps :)

Sometimes it is better to mix just single flavours then mix them after the fact.
For one it is easier to work out the percentages/strengths and some flavours will dominate another - this is reduced a bit if they are kept in solitary for a bit
Also some flavours/mixes require little steeping whilst other take ages so by mixing single flavours you can add them when they are at their prime.
I find banana (Capella) takes about week to start tasting right.
No idea about the cherry though???
