Nearly forgot to put this, but here it is: This is a personal review of a product I personally bought with my own spending money and that. No-one at Planet of the Vapes had anything to do with it and probably resent me messing up the review thread with my inane crap anyway.
After fruitlessly looking around for something to equal my KFL to no avail (Dream, Blech!) I decided to try res/no res setups. To this end, I looked at a couple of options and settled on the Ismoka Magoo from GreyHaze, priced at £38.99.
It having turned up, looking all pretty and that nestled in its cardboard cocoon it sat for a couple of days on the side, daring me to try it. I opened it up and was met with what can be described politely as not the prettiest coil in the world ever. So, I fired off a quick order to stealthvape and promptly received some premade res/no res wire, along with some of their no res wire and some standard silica (which I seem to prefer over Ekowool, dunno why). I quickly wrapped a nice 1.8 ohm coil, put the Magoo back together, connected it to my trusty roller and hit the button. "Pop!" it said. So I coiled it again, and dry fired it again. "Pop!" it said. Turns out that these things have a very strict posi and negi connection, with the insulated side of atty running to the posi post.
Having discovered this, I filled it with Manabush Powwow sauce and gave it a suck. MY GOD, the flavour and vape production on this badboy is IMMENSE! With its variable juice supply and variable airhole the Magoo can really deliver a huge punch and a massive cloud, at a cost of being the thirstiest atty I have ever used. Of course it can be turned down, but the novelty of being donkeypunched by an atty still hasn't worn off yet so I can't report on how well that works.
Would I buy it again: No, I've already got one. Would I buy it if I didn't have one? Hell yeah, and so should you.
P.S. This is the first time I have ever been stirred by a bit of kit to write a review, and I had noticed that there was a severe lack of info on it too. So be gentle, and if I missed anything out, feel free to ask.
