What's new

My reviews of 2020 so far

Nice review mate. I always wonder why companies make coils that hit the high end of the wattage on a mod though. Just seems strnge to me as I always run single battery mods about half capacity to save batteries.
Yeah same here, a 21700 version would have solved that, fortunately I enjoyed the higher ohm coil at 50 watts but I wouldn't use it as a full day mod, I think if Vaporesso brought out a dual cell mod for this tank it would be a winner, the waterproofing is superb.

The Eleaf Pico Compaq review is now live, I got all arty-farty with the lighting on this one, including a laser pen and vape background, along with using a simple Fogstar 18650 torch as a highlight.

Turns out I liked the Compaq far more than I was expecting, one for DL users only though.

I love Eleaf design.
Still, one of my single 21700 favourites, the Pico S 21700:

I still regret of having purchased the Nunchaku 2 instead :(

I'm not sure why I never got around to the Pico S 21700, it was certainly on my wish-list, in fact it still is, I'm a big fan of Eleaf as my very first proper vape was the Pico Grande (even though it was a Totally Wankered rebrand) it is still going strong and in my regular rotation, it also takes a huge 26650 battery.

iJoy however are on my shit-list due to "that will do" design & build quality.

I'm all caught up with published reviews, currently I am road testing the Innokin Sceptre, first impressions:
There's a lot to like about this pod, MTL draw isn't as tight as I like but the DL 0.5ohm coil is where it excels and a half decent 1400mAh battery lasts well, I'm currently back onto the MTL 1.2ohm coil and the draw is similar to the Vaporesso XTRA.

There's a few niggles, such as the oddly positioned fire button which I often lose but the auto-draw comes in handy, the pod is kinda innovative but nowhere near as convenient as others (screw in coil and PIA to fill), I like the little light which helps to see your juice level though.

So far its main attraction is its look and feel, it's one of those posh-pods if you get my drift?

Currently testing the Vandy Vape Berserker MTL RTA and the Artery Cold Steel AIO (RBA version) with the 510 adaptor.

I have also been working on my Best of 2020 list, one of the most surprising devices I have revisited is the Vaporesso XTRA pod, proof of the pudding and all that; this is one of the few devices I still buy pods for regularly even though the XROS was better I find the XTRA more useful on a lanyard.

Another one that fell out of favour is the Geek Vape Aegis Boost, I LOVED this pod system but the leaking & filling method did my head in, it sat in the sin bin for months but I've dug it back out and I'm using the superb RBA (RDTA) which doesn't leak and superb for MTL

Haven't used mine in ages too. Is that the original RBA that came out or is there another one now? Didn't think it worked for MTL. What's the hole size under the coil mate?

It's the original one @rew , airflow almost fully closed but with a short narrow bore drip tip, I like a tight draw MTL and this vapes perfectly for me, reminds me of a 1mm airflow but with dripper type hit.

I'm using a 1.6ohm fused clapton (Vandy Vape) at 9 watts

Great review on the Sceptre mate. I find the same, the flavour is great but it's just too loose for MTL. When it was released they said they were going to release a higher ohm coil which was much tighter, wonder what has happened to that.
