My Vamo V5 just arrived having connectivity issues?

Hi All,

Took the plunge and went for a Vamo V5 which arrived today. After reading good things about the Aero Tank I went for that! Unfortunately can't seem to get it to screw on?

I thought these were all standard fit? Am I missing some vital connector or is there an issue with the Vamo?

I have managed to connect the Aero tank to my ego twist and my MT3 to my Vamo (obv using the other thread)

Any ideas?

really wanted to get going with it!!

I dont have an aero tank, but I do have a v5 vamo....does the aero tank have a ego/510 thread ??....it might be that you just need to push it on as you screw it in......I've got some atties that need a little push to help them screw on...

Pretty sure the Aero is 510 yes. Well my epack sell them in the V5 packs they offer so assume it must fit.

I have tried all sorts of pushing twisting etc and just doesn't want to go on!

So after pushing twisting passing it round people at work to make sure I'm not doing something wrong I have come to the conclusion the thread on the V5 is crap!!!

Spoke to myepack who although seemed lacklustre in answering or offering advice did say if I sent it back they would replace. Just a bit fed up I gotta pay to send this back and am wondering if to just buy the part people are suggesting is better quality.

The issues I hear about the threads on vamo's all come down 2 have'n a chromed version! Most ppl get the ss version & don't get the sam thread probs.

A lot of people have issues with the threads on the chome brass vamo. I bought a stainless steel vamo v2 almost a year ago and haven't had a single issue with the threads.

Well this is the stainless steel version so seems it's not just the chrome!!

I've got the Vamo V5 but not the tank you mention. Can you put some pictures up so we can see where the problem is? I don't know if this will help, but might trigger some alternative suggestions?

It could be the 510 threading on the Vamo, maybe have a good look at the 510 threading on the Vamo and see if there is any swarf in there?
