Feeling down and gutted about the loss of my much beloved vape collection, so thought I'd share my tale with those who will understand my pain....

I've been vaping for 6 months now and have purchased a nice little collection of devices during this time, along with a nifty vape case to store them in along with my liquids. I've carried this around, in my gym bag, daily and my friends and colleagues will vouch for how much I loved it.

So I went on a business trip for work on Monday, to the North of England, where I'd be staying in a hotel for 2 x nights, packed on Monday morning and filled my vape bag up to the brim with all my gear -

1 x Smok G -Priv 2 mod, with 8ml Prince tank and a pack of coils
1 x Nunchuku vape kit, with a pack of coils
1 x Nautilus 2 tank with an Aspire box mod, with a pack of coils
1 x Prism T20s stick, with a pack of coils
1 x An array of premium juices, including Naked 100, Charlies Chalk dust and manabush

I put my vape case into my gym bag as I usually do and set off on my 5 hour train commute journey....I had my Nautilus mini in my pocket for daily use, so I wouldn't have to go into my bag during the journey.

Upon arriving, I spent the afternoon working in our Northern office and when departing at the end of the day, I noticed to my shock and horror that the vape kit was not in my gym bag....I hadn't taken it out all day. I figured I'd maybe put in my suitcase instead, before departing, so went back to the hotel to check and it wasn't there....I then started to doubt my own memory and wondered if I'd even packed it all, so had my housemate check the entire house, including my room - it wasn't there. Fuck.

My bag was left unattended at my desk, in the office, several times throughout the day - the idea of a working professional, in a civil service office, going through my bag and stealing a vape kit seemed a bit hard to believe, until I was informed that somebody else, in that office, had reported having a vape mod stolen for his desk last Friday. I also noticed 3 teenage chavy looking 'interns' working on a desk near where I was sitting....It would indeed appear that my vape kit was stolen from my bag by someone in that office....

I got home this evening and searched the house too, but as expected - it's not here.

Gutted is an understatement. All I have left is my Nautilus mini and one bottle of eliquid :(

Looks like I'll have to start from scratch!

Lesson learned - I'll never put all my gear in one case again and will never leave my vape kit unsecured in the office!!!

If they are stupid enough to steal from work they may be stupid enough to bring the stuff back. I would file an official report with the office and provide photos of the devices. You might get lucky.

oh no, thats awful to hear.

It does suck - the collection probably seems small fry to some of the pro collectors here, but I'm still new to the game and loved it!!!

Life goes on though - might just invest £300 on a brand new collection to make myself feel better, which was the value of what I've just lost! Might finally try making my own coils, with an RDA tank - an excuse to finally get started with that I guess!

Sorry to hear mate. Sadly a part of life now. Why work for something when you can just take it. World's on its arse.
Sadly it's just as likely to be the suited and booted lovely bloke on the next desk as the chav gits.
Have a word to find if the office has any workplace insurance.
Apart from that it's a case of live and learn and if you see any fellow employees with your gear in the future, be sure to make their life a misery.

Well if it was definitely nicked from that office i'd be back there to find the cunt who nicked them

I really should, but it's a tricky one - as this is our sister branch up north, where I was invited for a career development visit, hotel and travel paid for by head office and was given a guided tour and proper looked after by all the management and staff. They seemed like a lovely bunch, but the fact is my vape kit miraculously disappeared from my bag whilst I was in that office - I did raise it with security and the office manager, who asked around and lots of people came up to ask if it had turned up....Not sure if I want to cause drama by raising it any further....they all know about it, so maybe something may come to light by the end of the week....

It is all a bit of a mystery though - it takes some bottle (or stupidity) to go through someones bag and steal something from it in a busy office

If people are already aware I understand why you wouldn't want to go about it. If you are lucky the person will get caught.

I wouldn't care if I was on an all expenses paid trip to Buckingham palace. If stuff was taken then I would report it/claim from the company. If you don't they will have gotten away with it and will keep doing it

That's a bummer. Sick feeling when you realise someone has stolen something from you.
