I actually marked this as a thumbs down but for some it might be a great product, this is my personal opinion and not related to the views of planet of the vapes or any moderator on here.
My Neat Cigs kit was the second product i tried in the ecig world, following on from e-lites when I came across a bundle deal that offered a kit plus loads of cartomisers for a decent price. In the box came a tobacco, menthol and fruit carto plus 5 tobacco ones as part of the deal.
First of all the Neat Cigs battery and atomiser configuration produces a much better vapur than the e-lites previously tested. You 'feel' a decent pull when you inhale and get a reasonable throat hit as a result so actually in that regard this is a decent enough product, for me though it seriously fails when it comes to the flavour of the cartomiser in both tobacco and fruit flavours. Tobacco is just horrible in many ways but none I can put my finger on, it was from the very first drag a flavour that did not make me want to go back to it at all unless I was getting a craving.
Fruit was worse, I like a fruit flavour actually but it was sweet and bitter, no real distinction between exactly what fruit was in the juice, very chemical tasting and i was glad to only have the one. With the tobacco flavour i came to get used to it but i would not call it enjoyable.
Menthol though on this device is where I would say it shines, the menthol vapour is lovely, the flavour is lovely and it gives just the right hit. If you are a menthol smoker and want to switch you will not do badly by finding a neatcigs deal with a bunch of carto's - though my opinion of how many cigarettes a cartomiser offers is nowhere near that advertised - again around 30 cigarettes is perhaps more accurate.
I only smoke around 5-7 cigs a day so base it on this.
In the end though I just used this device with the old cartomisers filled with juice purchased online, if neatcigs sold empty carto's this would IMO offer a more versatile product - so people do not have to suffer their idea of tobacco flavour.
Because I was refilling and doing this on a cig-a-like is far from convenient I decided to try my next step up - an Ego-T kit - this upgrade is mightily impressive and shows the cig-a-likes to be a decent step but far from the product they need to be to keep smokers on them long term.
