Need a decent tobacco flavoured liquid...

Correct link is http://www.houseofliquid.com/

I am wary of this type of e-liquid, It seems to be made by steeping tobacco so does it contain tar and the other nasties that we are trying to get away from by using e-cigs?

They don't seem to have much choice either, and it appears their products do contain real tobacco, don't really want to go there, so thanks for pointing that out mate. Will keep searching other vendors I guess lol.

Geuvara can't be beaten in my book, or any of the other HOL tobacco liquids, though I can see the Vermillion River appeal, and they are decent, they come way behaind, for me, personally, anyway, not here to change anyones mind, but here is an interview done with the ebaron where the point is raised as to the contents of the liquids, which you can follow up more in depth via the power of google, etc, if you want to: http://zonavapera.todosdesdecero.co...fliquid-speaks-of-its-range-of-e-liquid-toro/

Have you tried steeping the stuff you had that tastes crap? I have found that I have the same problem sometimes with RY4 but leaving it for a few days at least with the top off brings out the flavour.

Thanks m8, noted. But, should I really be needing to steep a liquid for a given period of time when I've purchased it as a pre-mixed liquid that I'd like to use straight away???

If I was making my own, I'd be prepared to factor in the relevant period of time to steep the liquid if you follow. It's a pre-mixed liquid however, and I shouldn't need to have to steep it to use it.

yes and no.
with the large variety of flavours, concentrations, pg/vg ratios, bottle sizes and nicotine strengths available, quite a lot of the eliquids are mixed for you specially when your order is placed. So although it is pre-mixed, it may well have been "pre-mixed" the day before.

It doesnt mean it sucks to vape it right away, it'll be good. And some of the juices get better as they mingle with each other over time (steeping). Think wine..brandy......you can open it and drink it right there if you want..or wait 5 years.

I agree about the house of liquids juice. I pretty much just use el toro guevera 24mg cause everything else ive tried since is nowhere near as good. I had some dekang ry4 a while ago and I didnt like it. Kind of tasted like I was vaping soy sauce

I bought 50ml of the Dekang stuff and it was rough. Added some other RY4 to it so I could use it. Have some of Health E Vape Gold RY4 at the moment. Pretty good but I still prefer the stuff from iVapour-Elixir.

Well, the not so good stuff has been steeping as per advise, unfortunately it hasn't improved at all. It's not just the lack of taste that was different with the latter batch. The previous really good batches were of a much thicker viscocity liquid, they also had a nice deep colour and a very nice strong aroma as well. The latter crappy batch is extremely thin, it is very nearly as thin as water, (I've tested approx 40 different flavours on my vaping journey so far lol, I've also got 5 flavours that I use the most and have several bottles of those too, and whilst some of the various liquids are thicker or thinner than others, I've not had any with viscocity as thin as the poor stuff). Additionally, it has virtually no colour or aroma to it, it just looks, feels and tastes very poor indeed. I'm not complaining about the vendor, as all my current favourites come from them, maybe just this latest batch didn't go quite to plan lol???

I found a vendor that stocked 11 different tobacco flavoured liquids, so I ordered a sample of each of them, and thus far they are all extremely nice indeed. I'll definitely enjoy vaping them, but I like to have 4 or 5 atty's on the go with different flavours in each, but one of them always has my favourite USA red mix that I vape all day per se. A couple of new favourites may well emerge from these new trials too lol :) .

Whilst their version of the USA red is still nice, my hunt is still on to track down a vendor that stocks the USA red mix that is my ultra favourite lol :-) .

Am going to order some of Hangsen's and Dekang's USA red and trial them, hopefully one of them will be the one I'm looking for :-) .

I had said I wasn't going to do it before, but I've also ordered the tools to rebuild the heads for my MT3's as well ROFL. I'm just going to order a load of wicks in different mm's after reading multiple posts on the subject, and order a couple of gauges of wire that several experienced vapers have mentioned they are using to rebuild theirs too. That's as far as I'm going though, I'm not going to begin mixing my own liquids, again, I'd only like the tobacco flavours, and given that the liquid manufacturers keep their recipes a closely guarded secret, I'd simply have no idea what flavourings they all use to come up with the tobacco flavours.

I blame you lot hehehe :grin2: :p

LT ecigs The Moors is a great flavour, has a plum/grape undertone that really works well with the tobacco flavour. Its my 6 AM with a coffee vape.
