Need to try and recreate campino sweets

Hi guys

Have started mixing to try and cut costs.
My other halfs adv is 'raspberry candy' which is supposed to be like those campino sweets, can't find a recipie online though.

Has anyone tried a flavour like this or can anyone give some suggestions?

I have several ingredients to tinker with including raspberry, sweet cream, Bavarian cream, ethyl maltol and a few others

not cost cutting per se .. tho its far from expensive but PlumeBlu s campino is awesome

I don't do a campino, T-Juice do one that is pretty close (Strawberri) as already mentioned.

You could try:

Strawberry/raspberry 10% (unless you are going for the mixed fruit version that has raspberry in with blackcurrant and peach in which case tinker with the other two fruit for %)
sweet cream 10%
bavarian cream 2%

That would be based on at least a 50/50 blend IMO

steep for about 4 days

Ive made a 5ml tester for her thats been steeped since monday, its 70pg 30vg at 12mg containing 7.5%raspberry and 7.5% sweet cream.

I'll add a splash of Bavarian cream in the next tester and see how it tastes

Sounds about right to me, providing the raspberry is a decent one as frankly - most are a bit shit. more PG = less flavour needed for a similar effect

You can hot water bath or microwave the fresh juice to speed it up, sweet cream will develop like this whereas a vanilla custard won't develop all that much without time. I find that a hot water bath for an hour and then an ice cold water bath for the same amount of time (repeat twice) will allow you to sample it pretty much next day. Leave the cap off for a few hours after your bath cycle to allow some oxygen exchange then shake like a lunatic (with the cap back on, you don't want to wear it) for 20 to 30 seconds before leaving it alone overnight.
