Have just purchased some EFEST 18350 IMR's and a trustfire TR 001 charger for my sig zmax v3.
Being new to mods I've tried reading up on everything and have read time and time again that overcharging is BAD yet the vendor told me to put the cells on to charge for 8hrs plus regardless of whether the charger indicates that they're fully charged.
I know this is commonplace with stuff like mobile phone batteries but is a good idea with 18350's and 18650's etc?
Last thing I want to do is ruin my batteries as soon as I've got them or blow up my mod (and face!!) by making the cells unstable.
Advice please
Thanks

Tbh opinions will vary on the matter. Personally I charge them till the green light goes off and consider them ready to go. I have had two of my 18650s for over a year and still use them daily. Not as good as new certainly but they still last me the day with moderate vaping.

Charge untill green then take them off just to be safe the trust fires are good batts but not sure about the charger.
