don the ohms .. or up the voltage
Oops. Yes of course. Make it hotter.
don the ohms .. or up the voltage
Dream on
You know I'm gagging for it! I had a look around the salty box the other night at the pico tanks as I really want some sexy shrimp but I think my fluval spec might be too small, especially as a starter tank. I'm guessing I'd have to be bang on the perimeters the whole time and there ain't a busting amount of room for a tropical heater let alone anything else!
Thanks for that. I've got a friend who breeds rcs so she sorts me out. I'm just waiting for some more to mature at the moment (after my lfs sold me grated plants that wiped out all of mine!). I've now got neons so I'm not expecting to see many babies! I've got a 54l tropical tank which is really easy to run compared to the crappy biorb I started with! We do a swap cos I seem to have a knack for breeding assasin snails-slow breeders my arse I've got about 50 babies at the moment!!!If you want shrimp I can recommend this guy over at the Tropical Tank forum.
Quick delivery, the shrimp are the best red shrimp I've seen, I'm not sure if he'll post during the winter tho. But careful with the water, cuz there was a lot of planaria & hydra, which can be a real bitch to get rid of once you get them in your tank.

& like ZT said, bigger tanks are more stable & easier.
