Afternoon guys.

I've been looking around casually for a couple of months at replacing my current devices. I've pretty much exclusively flipped between the Freemax Autopod 50 and Aspire Cloudflask S for the last 3/4 years. They've been battered and don't owe me anything at all. However, coils are getting harder to source and especially at a decent price now and they're obviously not holding anything like the power they used to.

Must admit to being a bit overwhelmed when i started looking. The amount of options are just mental but stumbled across a thread last night and i think i may go for the Luxe XR Max. It just seems to tick the boxes with regards to a natural progression from what i have been using. I'm about 90% sure that's what i will go for but just wondering if there's anything else very similar worth considering?

I have boxes of stuff built up over the years and from the TPD but pods are just too easy and i'm not really an hobbyist/enthusiast. I just don't have the time or inclination to be honest.

Any thoughts would be great and if not cheers for reading and i'll buy this later.

cheers

ps- i'm a pretty heavy vaper and have and carry 3 devices around when out and about and at work

XR Max is a solid device with a 2800mah battery. Support all sorts of coils and can do MTL/RDL/DTL with different pod options.

Excellente! Cheers for that mate. Yeah the more i read about it last night the more i was convinced it was ticking the boxes for me. I might actually pile in and get a couple. Like everyone i think one of my few gripes with the Autopod was that effing frosted/dark tinted glass. I see a lot still persist with this nonsense. I'll miss the old girls but time for a change. Personally, i think the Autopod edged it for flavour which is my bag but the Cloudflask S was a decent device too. It was airier and more clouds but a lot less control. None in fact.

the xr max is good, since i bought one i have pretty much retired my other stuff.
That's exactly my kinda language and what i did when i got the Autopod and Cloudflask a few years back. Used nothing else but them and i think there's at least 2 boxes of stuff sitting out in the garage gathering dust.

Thanks to you both for your input. Much appreciated.

ps- forgot to add i ordered one earlier. There will very probably be another one on the way soon after.

Like hack has already said the XR max is a solid device, I've got 4 of em & they are all used daily some DTL some RDL, if you do decide to get one check out legion of vapers & you can also get the larger pods from there.

I've just switched from an on-the-go set of about 8 mods and twice as many drippers and tanks to 3 (soon to be 4) pods.

I started with pair of Lost Vape Elites, very decent taste considering, nice little things, but a bit annoying with just 3ml and while they are a respectable vape they don't have much oomph, so yesterday I got a Luxe X and have an XR Max on the way.

The Luxe X is brilliant and if that's anything to go by, the Max should be just about perfect, the taste is better than the Lost Vape, I'm really liking the mouth-activated draw, nice shape to put in your mouth, and the Max should be just the same but with even more battery life and and 80w of ooomph.

I'm packing the mods and drippers etc. away to have break from all the nuts and bolts of it and just enjoy vaping and am smoking less and less day by day, which is great.

I'd been losing sight of the actual objective of getting my vape gear out again after 2 years pure faggery (not in that sense) - i.e. to reduce or stop smoking - by replacing it with a similarly enjoyable thing to do with my hands - but right now I don't also want to do the the constant tinkering and optimising and fettling and cleaning etc etc which can be enjoyable in themselves, but I'm not much into that side of things at thge moment.

Thanks. Yeah i glanced at quite a few reviews last night of the Luxe Max and the only real cons if any were the dark tinted glass for the pods which does annoy me a bit tbh (but a lot of them do it) and the fact that the Luxe Max isn't draw activated. The second point doesn't bother me in the slightest though.

Aye, that is annoying, and I make it worse by adding a sticker with the flavour and ohms on it to one side of the bottom. I do find it's OK to refill though, better with the port on the bottom rather than the side as per the Lost Vape - it's hard to judge when they are nearly full / not spooge jiuce when filling but the Luxe / GTX ones are nicer for that, you can see pretty clearly when filling if you hold it up to a light or white wall etc.
