new e-liquid doesn't absorb into coil at all, but old e-liquids do?

i got 2 e-liquids (new to vaping), both are the same brand. Other flavor is guava passion, and it works fully, but this new e-liquid i bought does not absorb into the coil for some reason, even if i drip it directly onto the cotton. Is there anything i can do about this or is my liquid a dud? Using an argus pro

I’m sure someone with better knowledge will be along soon x but in the mean time you could try warming the liquid slightly to make it more runny, the weather although not cold is cooler so the liquid will be a tad thicker. As your liquid is more vg it generally means it’s thicker x that just a basic explanation xx

you say youve added one bottle of nic, 100ml need 2 bottles to make the final ratio 3mg in strength. also what ratio was the nic shot. ive given up using 100vg shots now as find the final mix too thick and much prefer 70vg shots as it makes the juice thinner.

also which coil have you got inserted as maybe a couple of the lower wattage restricted direct to lung coils might need thinner juice.
no idea why one juice works and soaks in while the other doesnt. inconsitency in mixing maybe.

i inserted the 60-80W coil. also the nic shots were 10ml 20mg, not sure which part the ratio is. also didn't know i were meant to put 2, so thanks for that. (was confused why the guy at shop gave me 2)

the cotton looks dry & my vape hits have no flavor, as if i had no liquid in my vape at all

ahh, so your using nic salts which come in 10mg or 20mg and not frebbase nicotine shots which are usually 18mg.
the ratio is the vg/pg mixture in the nic shots. it will say on the bottle 50vg/50pg or 70vg/30pg or 100vg
post a picture if that makes it easier.

once youve put them in the 100ml bottle shake vigoursly for a while. the more you shake the better mixed it will get.

just to make sure your doing it corectly. you need to prime the coil first. drip liquid on all the cotton around the coil and a few drops down the top as well. then put coil in tank and fill the tank/pod up with juice. then let it sit for 10-15 minutes. start low. so if you are going to vape at say 50watts then start at 25watts. you will get no cloud or hardly any taste but the coil is still heating up and bedding in. turn up a couple of watts each puff and take short puffs. when you finally get upto the wattage you want to vape at then vape as you normally would by taking longer puffs. by then the coil will be bedded in and should last longer.

ok so defo nic salts.
i still cant understand why there is no taste.
drip a drop of the juice on your finger and lick it to see if you get any taste. should be quite strong. if still no taste then youve got a naff juice that needs replacing.
if you had been vaping the same flavour for weeks we could of put it down to vapours tongue where all taste goes but as your new to vaping it wouldnt be that. next question would have to be have you had or got covid as you can lose all taste with that.

so what wattage have you got your mod set at. as your using the 60-80w coil its worth turning the wattage up but that depends on what you are set at at the moment.
i use similar coils that are rated 60-90watt but im quite happy vaping at 45-50max with loads of cloud and flavour.
