Welcome one and all to Planet of the Vapes v2.0!
We've been working hard to try and bring you a new and improved forum system for months now and we hope you like the final results!
If you find any issues could you please post in this thread and we'll do our best to sort them ASAP. Could we also ask that you read previous posts before adding an issue as this will decrease our workload considerably!!
Some basic answers:
How do I upload an image to my post?
You may notice the image icon in the editor and immediately think that's what you need! Well it is if you want to link to an external image but if you want to upload your own, you should be able to see a button next to the green create thread/create post button that says "Upload a File", that's the one you want! You can upload multiple files and insert them using the small buttons that appear next to the thumbnail of the image you uploaded.
What are all of these notifications!?
We have implemented a new award/trophy system. As you progress you will receive various badges with which to adorn your profile. These are well spaced and the initial influx is just due to the forum migration. You will be awarded everything you have earned thus far in one go. They disappear quickly and shouldn't bother you again!

What are all of the little buttons on the bottom right of a thread?
This is our new ratings system. As well as tagging a post with a like or thank you can now also Doh!, WTF!?, LOL and Troll a post. Have fun but please don't go nuts. It's a really good system if not abused and moderators will be annoyed (they're easily annoyed) and have a word with you!
So once again, please enjoy yourself. We hope you don't find the new system too daunting! We've done a lot of work to try and make sure things aren't too different whilst adding more features and an updated look
