I'm about a week ahead of you on the vaping journey.

I bought the itaste vv v3 mentioned above today and it's exactly what I wanted. Small, with decent battery life, adjustable voltage and dead easy to use.

I can recommend it from one noob to another.

To be really honest I'm shocked how easy it is so far. (Looks for something wooden to touch)

I've smoked 40/day Rothmans for nearly 40 years. I've stubbornly resisted all the nagging from friends and family. The thought of trying to give up scared me. I would panic if I got down to my last 3 or 4 cigs.

Then I decided to quit and try vaping.
1 week later I have no desire to smoke, I already find the smell unpleasant. My brain lied to me, it told me that I liked smoking, I didn't but it did give me my nicotine fix.

I hope you find this as easy as I am.
Be a bit of an anorak and read all the advice here that you can. Buy the right kit for your needs... and good luck, but you probably won't need it, if I can quit, anyone can.

Same here 40 odd years smoking roll-ups, been vaping for just over 5 weeks, just can't belive how easy it's been so far(touch wood) keep thinking there must be bad times ahead, hopefuly not.

I started with an evod starter last month, it worked I didn't smoke! ! after 25 years of 50 rollies a day, this month I've gone similar but a srep bigger to a pro tank 2 and a spinner 2
