New Listings on F/T 2

I love the atom and as said the top thread on my top cap was rough and I needed to do some work on the finish mainly on the bottom button but apart from that great mod :)

The finish on the astro is cloudy on some little parts of the body but away from the engraving and not had a go at getting these out yet but its not that bad and won't take to long to sort out

The locking ring on my Atom went a bit odd the other day, just spinning when in the locked position. Had it in my pocket today, reached in to take it out for a vape and noticed that it was really hot, it had been firing continuously for quite some time. Lucky that I'd noticed or the battery might have vented which wouldn't have been good.

After it had cooled down I took the switch section off and realised that the firing pin had come unscrewed by quite a bit. Tightened it up and it's fine now, and the locking ring now locks properly again.

Worth keeping an eye on that for those of you that have the Atom clone.

I was going to say its your brass pin in the firing button as the wife was saying to me is it suppose to just spin, I tightened it up with pliers and its fine now :)

This can happen with all sorts of mods at all sorts of price ranges, I reckon it is one of those things that we find out through experience just to pay our gear a bit of love and attention every now and then, and it should be sweet.

echo MT...it happens...something like the magneto ..and the magnets pull the switch together...
all sorts of designs "suffer" this, but it is not a negative, int he same way that a car tyre without air doesnt roll very well. We need to look after all our stuff and make sure it is nice and tight where it should be.

Yep I agree not a issue just need to be aware that screws will loosen over time and or if not fully tightened in the first place :)

I didn't have the same issue with my magneto, but that's only because I watched pbusardo's review and tightened it up in time :)
