What's new

New tank (cigg size drip tip must)

Yes I have & thank you!:)
Apologies if my posts seemed like I was trying to teach you how to sucks eggs btw, was not my intention just in case they came across that way :D

Welcome aboard.

Not at all, what if I didn't know?

The drip tip. Big drip adopter to small, lots of tanks to pick through then & you said such existed:p That's all I need.

Not sure if it is the case with all of them now, but most of the atomisers that I have bought recently, that take the 810 size tips, have come with a 510 size adapter in the box. I would say the the size you are looking for would more likely be 510 size than 810. Generally though the kind of tank or RDA/RTA that has the 810 size would be the cloud chucking type that you were not looking for.

Never got one with a adopter, just metal & plastic. Guess I gotta call the shops, hear what they have for me then:p

The adapters can be bought separately, example below.

And the below link is a drip tip that would probably meet your requirements, but it would suit an MTL style tank rather than a low resistance DTL/sub-ohm type atomiser.

I'm looking for a new tank. The drip tip must be cigarette size, which does limit my possibilities.
What worries me, is the watt max. I've had a good eye on the Vaporesso Guardian.
But... The max watt is 0.6 ohm 8-13 watt & 0.5 is 20-35 watt. Looked at others too, but they all have very low watt. That is ancient! Will I run out of breath before I'm done? Yes, yes the must-have cigarette size drip tip is a big limiter, but still!

I'm not looking to be a steam machine, but I've vaped for some 7 years. 0.3-0.6 ohm, 40-80 watt is a good fit for me. Watt can be higher or lower depending on ohm.

Need some help! Thank you:)

If you like the drip tip you have, just keep it and use on any tank.
which kanger tank are you using? it might be easier to get more replacement style tips and again just use on any tank

Yes, it becomes MTL on a small drip tip.
Why do I need the small drip tip? Well... My 510 cracked, it's 0.5 ohm, 50-55 W. I have an 810 0.2 ohm, 50 W. The 510 gives me much, MUCH more! But significantly less powerful. I burn through vape on the 810 & I actually still smoke more! It's like it passes right through me, not giving me much.

But a small drip tip gives me everything.

Don't remember, it's quite old (really old in vape world) I just really liked it & bought 10 coils on a sale when I had to order some new ones. But even 510 drips often have different bottoms, so they stick badly if they aren't made for it.

Yep, that's why I said ohm 0.3-0.6, 40-80 watt. Like, if it's 0.3, 40 watt is fine. Even 30 perhaps. So the ohm makes up for watt. I'm not looking for 80 w anyway, it's overkill for me. I run my current Kangertech at 0.6 ohm, 50 W - that's fine:) It's out of production, however.

Regarding the drip tips, I've never seen big>small, only small > big.

So, if big > small does exist, please provide any link. Problem solved!

I believe this is what you are after? Delrin or acrylin are a good shout since they won't get hot like a metal adapter, just bear in mind if the tank has 0-rings where the drip tip inserts then you will probably want a smooth adapter rather than that one which has the 2 o-rings. And welcome to the forum :)

*You could probably just pull the o-rings off that adapter if you needed to though
