new to mixing myself and need help!

Hello,

I am new to mixing, and have tried a couple of times but just don't seem to get it right.

I have a couple of 10ml bottles of 18mg nicotine VG
a few 30ml bottles of various flavours
a huge bottle of VG/PG 50/50

I want to make my own 12mg strength liquid.. can someone please tell me the ratios of each?

If you let us know the recommended flavour percent and the PG/VG ratio you need, sure we can work it out.

What VG/PG mix do you want to end up with?

To get 12mg you'll be needing to have 2/3 of the finished product made up of nic shots, so with your VG shots you'll only get 66.6v/33.3p or higher VG.

sorry for being thick - so, 2 10ml bottles of 18mg nico = 1 x nic shot?

Not quite...

A 10ml bottle of unflavoured juice is generically referred to as a nic shot - because it's usually sold as a one shot addition to a short fill bottle.

They are 18mg/ml (usually, if freebase - salt shots are normally 20mg/ml).

This means you have 180mg per bottle available.

If you want 12mg/ml, you add 5ml of whatever = 15ml (180mg/15ml=12mg/ml).

Increase the amounts but keep the ratio of 1:2 and you'll always have 12mg/ml juice.

Because you said they're VG based nic, you'll never be able to reach 12mg/ml AND 50/50 - the two are mutually exclusive.

You can however get 50/50, 70/30, 30/70 or 100pg shots. If you want 50/50 in the end, you'll need one of those (excluding the 100pg).

I am sure the above makes sense to you and most other people on here but I am so lost.
I just want to make 12mg strength vape liquid myself - I like a throat hit, hubby likes the steam so we agreed on 50/50 mixer (maybe this is wrong?)
Anyway - what ever the fool proof way of doing above without needing a lab and a physics degree would be fantastic.
