What's new

new to mixing, need a little help please.

ok, I have put the two bottles that I made in the cupboard to steep for about two weeks, I am going to mix up the Coconut recipe that jcol put up here and let that steep as well, what nic base do you think I should order next time? a 50/50 mix, VG base or just stick with the PG base? I am also going to order some sweetner and Ehtyl Maltol . thanks for your advice guy's

If possible, me too please :D
thanks

I have no problem sending this to anyone who wants it. Trouble is, everybody mixes so differently that I have kept it as broad as I can. I send this with my mixing kits so if it is of any use, you are welcome, PM me

I've not seen nic base in a PG/VG blend, just one or the other. I like mine VG heavy, but can still achieve this with PG nic base (54mg).

Your existing juices will steep quicker on a sunny windowsill - don't forget to leave the top off and give em a regular squeeze (advice that will serve you well in all walks of life ;))

ecigexpress have the nic base in PG,VG or 50/50, I don't vape over 11mg of nic so I am thinking of buying a 24mg or maybe even a 12mg nic strength but not sure which to go with the PG,VG or 50/50 mix? the bottle I have now is a 60mg nic PG base

At 60mg strength, you don't need much of it to get a maximum of 11mg final blend, so unless you're wanting to go really high on VG in your blend, it shouldn't matter.

I have 54mg PG and PG flavours, so to get a 50/50 final blend, I use little (if any) PG base, but I can achieve 50/50 without needing VG or mixed nic base, and I need more (lower concentrate nic solution and higher final nic strength of 16mg)

well I am not buying big bottles of nic or the PG and VG until I know that I can mix some good juice for me and my wife to vape on, we get our e-juice from a good store close to town and it cost's about $10 dollars a bottle of 10ml which is pretty good, but I do end up spending close to $50 dollars, that's why it would be a lot cheaper to mix my own. like I said I only get small bottles about 30ml to try and mix. I am getting ready to order another batch of 30ml again that is why I was asking which would be best to get, the nic with PG,VG or 50/50.then when I feel good about how things are going I will get bigger bottles.

As I said, unless you want to go almost 100% PG or VG, you should be able to reach the ratio you want with either type base.

$10 per 10ml seems an astonishing price - the cheapest I've seen in a shop is £3.50 ($5.60) per 10ml or 3 for £10 ($11.82)- online you can pick them up a bit cheaper. I can make my own for just under £1 ($1.18) per bottle.

On current exchange rates, you're paying £6.25 per bottle.

To make 10ml of 11mg strength base, you only need 1.8ml of your PG nic base, so even your 30ml is going to last you a while (16 bottles).

that's the best thing about mixing your own juice, you can make a whole lot more for less, I am thinking of sticking with the PG base, but I might just try the VG to see if it does any better for me, I also made my mix with a 70/30 so I have more PG than VG, I just hope the flavors come out more with steeping it.

ok, I have got an order on it's way to me, should be here by the weekend, I got a 12mg nic with 50/50 mix base some more pg and vg and a few other flavours, now most of the flavours I got are from capella and I wanted to know how good are they? and what % do I need to add for the flavours? because some company's are better than other's
