Hello everyone.
I'm new to vaping. I had an original e-cig thing around 22 years ago but then quit everything. Around a year ago I started smoking again, and within the last few months I've been buying disposables, including 4 in 1 pods.
For better choice, cost effectiveness and giving rtdl ago I'm looking to swap to a refillable pod type device.
I'm not looking for anything fancy, just a relatively basic vape with a few useful features.
Variable (but not to the extreme) wattage/airflow for rtdl, I'd like a display, so I'll see my wattage and battery (I gather these are pretty standard after a certain point) and a puff counter to see how much I'm actually using it (though not a deal breaker). But I don't need anything too fancy (complicated).
A decent enough battery that I can go most of the day without a charge.
I don't want it to become a hobby really or take over my life - that's more a comment about me than it is anyone here, I could see it happening.
I don't want to get into the finer details. I'll happily touch on resistance and wattage for the purpose of replacing a coil etc, but I don't want to give it too much thought.
I don't think I will vape forever so don't need the best money can buy, but equally, I don't want to have to buy a new unit in 6 months because I've outgrown this one. But I also don't want to break the bank now.
I suppose my problem is that I will be vaping for two reasons simultaneously:
1 - to quit smoking, and
2 - to have a bit of cloudy fun while doing it.
The aim still is to stop completely.
Anyway, I've been recommended a Voopoo Drag S
It's a bit more expensive than I'd intended.
It seems to have all the features I'm after, and more so. My gut is feeling me that if I buy this, it could end up being a hobby. The nature of the device may force me down that route. I think the recommendations came from people who think I want to vape more than I do.
I've heard voopoo is a good brand
I looked at an Argus G2
And a VMate V2
Also, one of the first 4in1 disposables I hard was a Dovpo Ayve Bar -they're not mentioned anywhere really so I'm guessing they're not the same standard. But the Dovpo Ayce Pro seems similar to the Argus and VMate.
Can anyone help me out a bit? I'd be very grateful.
