New to vaping o/

I started vaping about a month ago & loving it! Loads to learn still..i'm very much at the beginning of the journey...but picking things up fairly quickly....mainly mods and tanks...oh and the juices of courses!

I'm a MTL vaper, so haven't tried the SMOK V8, but it's still on me list to try down the road someday.

Juices....I've tried quite a few Vampire Vapes...and just got a load from LiQuid, Halo, V-Juice (they do a lovely Tuned in Cherry flavour...add a drop or two of menthol..it's delish!)....and a name that you'll no doubt hear about a lot on here....Manabush! I've just started trying one or two of theirs...Waxahachie (Gingerbread & Tobacco) is gorgeous!

Don't all the Manabush have tobacco tastes?
A lot of their blends look really tempting, except for the tobacco bit.

I don't know anyone that vapes in the UK except for a friends mom. I don't even smoke normally but I ran out my travel cigarettes and couldn't believe prices in the UK. I went on Vapour with a code I found on tech forum and got the kit and 3 juices for 30. I love the smoke and flavor. Especially as I can't be bothered with setting up my hookah. My nice hookah broke when I moved it to the UK a few years ago and I didn't find good products here. The Smok is a nice substitute, but not a social.

So many juices to try ... I wish they had tastings. I wonder if London has any?
I wish I could get a mix and match 10 pack but it could get really expensive quickly.

Ah yes...welcome to the UK's extortionate tax system on tobacco! Three taxes no less! At least they haven't whacked taxation on vaping yet, barring VAT of course. I am the only person I know in my circle the vapes at the moment..but I have wee baby sister (okay..she's not that wee..she's 36!) that still smokes. Her b'day is coming up..so i'm gonna buy her a mod, some juices and spares..and try and convince her to quit the analogues...very hard! Cos I is nice brother & me loves his wee sister!

I'm doing things the olde tried and tested way...i.e. the expensive way..just buying loads of 10mls and tasting them....it's expensive to do it that way..but where I am, ther's naff all in the way of vape exhibitions/meets..or whatever they're called.

I know nothing of Hookahs though sorry...I only found out what one was recently!

No not all...the Spiritwalker range is tobacco flavour free..for those that don't like them. I did initially like tobacco flavours, but since trying other flavours, I found that i'm no longer that keen on them..barring the Waxahachie one. Spiritwalker range is my next port of call for juices to try. Not cheap...but if I find a couple I like..then I'll get the shortfils. Hopefully Manabush might do a promotion soon...mibbe for Easter? That'll be nice!

Had a panic recently when I set my son up with a kit and a few bottles knowing my new ones usually come the next working day.

But then the weather hit!! Panic ensued after going through all my leftover flavours by Friday night with only 2 full 2ml tanks!!

The only other nicotine in the house was 4 packs of cigs leftover from smoking only 4 weeks ago!!

Luckily they came on the Saturday after 9 days.... phew!!

Sorry for the !!! overdose but it was scary lol

I've a cupboard full of ejuices...some that I know won't like now...because I bought a load of Tobacco ones in the first week of vaping......so they're just sitting their at the moment. But as others have found out...sometimes you can fall back in love with a flavour one thought they hated! Anyways...they're there as a back up if I get caught short of my regular stock.

18mgs is pretty high strength. I started with 12mgs for the first couple of weeks, but cos I use .6 & .7 ohm coils in me Nautiluses....I was getting all weird & dizzy....classic nic overdose symptoms. So I use 6 to a max of 9mgs (only when I need a quick nic fix me up!)...as I can't tolerate anything more than that. I've also reduced the PG content a tad, cos I was getting very dry ichy eyes...50/50 is about where my tastes and body is comfortable with. I like the hit of a higher PG...but not if couldn't focus my eyes afterwards!

I found that by closing the air valve a tad, produces a similar throaty hit..so no bad.

It's fun working it all out isn't it?!

After 36 years up to 50 a day, 18mg was and still is a necessity after nearly 4 weeks.
But I'm using 50/50 in the Nautilus Mini which is MTL.

I've just got a mini! It's going on my lovely Kamry e pipe, just as soon as the stainless cage arrives for it. Bit fiddly getting that bottom part off, cos the thick seal wants to stay in the glass, but I think suppose to come off with the base? I'd have the original Naut too, maybe one day..but only cos it's a 5ml..so i'd have to make one up from bits, or but one abroad......I like my Nautiluses! But....the Zenith has just landed..and that could well usurp the Nautiluses....we shall see!

50 a day!!! Feck me! I smoked 20 a day...if I tried to smoke more than that...I'd get sick! Anyways..18mgs would be right for you then....as 12mgs is for a 20-30 a dayer....but 6mgs or less is best if using 'minus 1 ohm' coils(can't call 'em sub ohms apparently if used in a MTL tank!)

I hope one day....i'll ween myself right off nicotine..then I can buy the big shortfils and not need to bother with the nic shots.

Do you miss the ciggies still? I must admit..i don't think about them at all...funny that...after trying all the other NRP in the past, and failing miserably! Love live the vape!
