Hey folks

OK got home from work nice big brown package and inside big white box with a pic of the beautiful black Tesla :)

it came with a 3ml dct tank thing used to nova's so forgive the newbie

So I followed the how to prime and fill video. left for 20 mins (while eating dinner)

tried it @ 6w and flavour was very muted. thought give it a chance left the tank aside for another 15 mins and still the same tried turning it up to 7.5 taste alittle better but 4 puffs later dry burnt taste.

the carto has a slit in both sides quite big compared to the ones I seen with the little holes. 1.3 ohms reading. not sure if single or dual coil either.

P.s. I think I better hide this from the woman i think it's very sexual looking PV

pmsl .....out of all my mods my wife seems to like my tesla best:hmm::hmm:

So I take it from the lack of replies that means carto's are crap ;-)

i may be wrong but as from my experience a 1.3omh atty would be killed by anything over 4.5 volts, may be different on a dct but i use a 1.8ohm mini nova and i vape at around 3.6volts anything over 4ohm on this and it burns. like i said only been vaping a few month myself so may be completely wrong

sorry need to start reading things properly, i see your using wattage not volts haha, in that case i dont have a clue. sorry

Nothing wrong with Carto's but as with all things there are good and bad. The supplied carto may be something you would not give house room too, so before you right this off buy a carto from smoktek or bauway you may be suprised.:)

As for waiting 20mins I wait a max of 5 mins and thats on a new carto , a couple of pulls with no power and off we go.

If it says its a DCT then it probably a dual coil carto so this could be just a normal 1.5 ohm resistance.

Also different juices can also effect the wattage some take a higher wattage than others before burning tastes come through, so again its suck it and see scenario.

1.3 ohm screams dual coil to me mate.

I would actually whack the wattage up to about 9 and see if there's a noticeable difference for the better.

Also the "slotted" cartos are often more inclined to flood, though as you haven't mentioned gurgling I guess you may still have that to come at some point :D 1.3 ohm dual coil I believe effectively means you are heating 2 x 2.6 ohm coils, so high voltage is the way forward :D

ok i will give it a try with a thinner juice i tried it @ 5w to 10w burnt taste so maybe the 50/50 mix is to thick for it.

i drained the tank and top of the carto was very dry i stuck a cotton bud in to see if it was damp...
