New vaper here looking for advice on my first MOD

You cant go wrong with my epack. Quick delivery and decent prices. However don't discount Fasttech. An authentic Itaste svd will set you back £22 and its a great piece of kit. A battery and charger from a UK vendor and then you have your pick of tanks. I'd go for a Kanger and partner it with a Nature vape coil. Kits are great but they tend to fall down when it comes to the standard tank.

I had a very similar choice when I started Vaping, in the end I went with a Vamo V5 kit from Amazon.

I'm very happy with the Vamo, it's seen use everyday for months now. The kit however came with 2 Vivi Nova Tanks, Trustfire batteries and an unbranded charger.... (these have not seen much use, as I got A Mini Nautilus, AW IMRs and a Nitecore I4 charger after doing a bit more reading) I've held on to the other accessories, but only as backups.

My Epack have both the Vamo V6 and Zmax available as kits with much better accessories, both come with Nitecore chargers, the Vamo comes with EFest batteries, the Zmax with Silelei's own. Both are the same cost (£50) unless you want an SS Vamo, then it's another five quid.

Personally I'd edge towards the Vamo V6 kit, as I got on well with it, it's newer and has a better range in terms of both accepted resistance and power. Plus Epack offer a range of tanks as part of the kit, for an extra tenner, you can swap the IClear or Protank for a Mini Nautlius or Aerotank V2.

If I could turn back time (if I could find a way ) that's the deal I would have gone for when I started. Best of luck mate, happy vaping

Do you mind me asking where you get your replacement iclear30 coils from? a friend of mine has that tank and reckons he can only find them on eBay and is a bit hesitant purchasing from there due to authenticity.

Looks like I'm swaying back towards the vamo, I'm loving the black chrome version as well but would have to get a black tank to match otherwise my OCD would hit the roof

Going back to the battery's/charger from what I've read the battery's seem reputable but the charger I'm not sure what it is, does anyone know much about it?

Also can anyone recommend good UK suppliers for liquid? I have a few sites but always nice to get recommendations on new ones from others.

I have, in the past, bought iclear30, iclear30s and Kanger coils from ebay and they have always been great

I have a vamo v6 in my circulation and prefer it to alot of my other mods. East to use, powerful enough for what I want it for. Loads of fakes out there though. It should just have vamo 20w etched on it unless its the eholly version. Dont go for the ones on ebay with the phone charger as they usually dont have the adjustable centre pin which is a necessity for me as I use a load of different tanks on mine. Great little mod and pretty cheap too. Shouldnt have to pay more than 30 for the vamo alone

Received my package yesterday, very quick only ordered Sunday evening. I haven't had the chance to use it yet should be able to have a go tonight. I did notice however it doesn't come with USB charging adapter, can anyone recommend a reputable source in the UK where I can purchase one?

Just out of interest does anyone know how to check if my Vamo V6 is genuine? I'm sure it is but there is nothing obvious in the box.

Right just a quick update before I head out the house, as you can see by the picture I've already bought a stainless steel tank for the Vamo I'm so happy with it but have also decided it's just to big for me to carry about so have since bought an istick to add to my collection. I've also wrapped the istick with a brushed stainless steel effect vinyl I got from work and I'm really impressed with how this little device performs. If it weren't for this forum I wouldn't have even bought it so thanks guys!

Anyway got to to go, smoke free since the beginning of November and counting!

Hi, im also a newbie and i have been using vamo v5 and its pretty good. But don't buy the kit with 2 cartomizers, 18350 batteries and a charger. Cartos suck, batteries are shit and my charger broke so only one side of it actually charges.
