New vaper!!

Hi all,

SnowDog (Pete) here. I'm a new vaper as got an Innokin CoolFire Mini Zenith D22 Kit for Christmas and am hooked!!

I occasionally smoke a pipe (mainly 'English' and Latakia blends), but vaping is going to be a separate thing and not to replace this.

I'm currently enjoying a 50/50 coffee mix on the Plexus Z coil - something I can do whilst chillin' out in at any time of the day in virtually any place.

Although this may be controversial, myself and my wife allowed our son to be gifted a SMOK X-Priv which has then got me interested.

Looking forward to the future developments in the vaping world and trying out different flavours etc...

As long as your son is a smoker that you are trying to get off the habit then all is well.

No, son does not smoke - under 16 (which is the contraversial bit).

We allowed him one so we had a better chance of controlling what he was doing (ie, a lot of younger people are trying these and obtaining them by various methods) as I caught him with a 'mates' which was being charged via a mini-USB (this one wasn't designed to be charged via this method) which was a fire-risk.

Hmm... Certainly could never endorse that but... I do see where you are coming from and you know your son better than anyone so... Let's face it, alot of us started smoking as kids, I know I certainly did and would much rather a child went for vaping over smoking but ideally neither!

I knew our decision is not going to agree with everyone. I was an 80's kid and the stuff I did on a BMX would make some people's hair curl, and nothing bad happened to me!!

I got the Zenith purely on reviews as I'm a MTL vaper with a twist - I take a mouthful, then let it (the cloud) fall out through nose/mouth slowly which is a bit like how I smoke my pipe. At the moment, I am very pleased with the flavour and vape amount (50/50, 0.5 Ohm at 17W).

If it wasn't designed to be charged via USB then it wouldn't charge. The battery connection just (usually) isn't there.

Whether any removable cell mod is suitable to be charged via USB (designed or otherwise) is a different debate.

That particular statement (saying under 16 as opposed to specifying an age) implies you consider 16 to be the minimum legal age.
