Newbie from Grantham, Lincs.

Hi and welcome!
About 6 years ago I lived in Lincolnshire, near Ruskington, in a tiny little 'back of beyond' village called Scopwick (Next to Metheringham or 'Meg' as it was locally known). Nothing there except sheep and ducks.
Hated it. Lovely scenery but way too isolating. Some beautiful villages around those parts though.

jesus ..all you people dancing on my home coutnry .. I went out with two girls from Meg when I was 16 ... simultaneously
 
'Tiz a small world, alright. My boys went to Digby First school and absolutely loved it. Only 80 odd pupils in the entire school :)

The place is riddled with RAF; Cottesmore, Cranwell, Wittering and the barracks in Grantham itself. I'm glad you all know it, I remember coming up as a kid from London and wondering why anyone would want to live this far from the big smoke. It is beautiful but most of it is Veeeerrrry remote. Thanks all.
