Good Afternoon,

long timer lurker, just decided to bite the bullet this afternoon and sign up.

Both my wife and I gave up smoking in September 2018 after finding out she was expecting our first child. My wife took it to it like a duck to water however for myself it took until February 2019 before I was off cigarettes completely.

I started off with a cheap device from my local b and m, that lasted about a week at which point I was just about ready to cut off a body part for a cigarette.

At this point the only course or action was either 20 regal or a trip to the vape shop, fortunately I chose the later, I always knew that I wanted my vaping experience to be a completely different sensation to a cigarette.

In the end I choose direct to lung, I started out with a Vaporesso Swag, really enjoyed it for a time but was put off by the ceramic coils and so I moved on.

Next up was a Voopoo Drag 2, and to date is my personal favourite mod, I know the tank got a bit of stick but I found it amazing using the freemax coils, unfortunately I fell over after a night out in late February which resulted in a broken arm and a mod which was destroyed (It broke my heart) and I think I may well eventually pick one up again.

So another trip to the vape shop was in order, I’d always loved the look of the Aegis mods, aesthetically I think it may be the best mod design of all time. I went for an aegis x and while the mod was very good the Cerberus tank that came with it was poor, Had nothing but coils issues which until recently I put up with.....

Until November when on impulse whilst browsing through Amazon I picked up a coil master kit, well that was that I now needed an RDA or RTA, I went with the former after a bit of research.

So my current set up consists of the Aegis X and Dead Rabbit V2 and I love it, the next purchase will undoubtedly be some sort of sqonker but I’m more than happy dripping for the time being.

Anyway that’s my vaping history look forward to getting stuck in and get involved in the community here

Hi and welcome :D

I love dripping but it does get a bit annoying if you are out and about. RTAs aren't all that much different IMO, but way more convenient for taking out with you than a dripper.

As do I, I didn’t realise how much better the flavour is compared to stock coil heads, I don’t really miss have a tank as such but then again much like everyone else I spend most of my time on the house these days, so not had many issues when out and about !
