There was once a thing called a floopy disk, bit like USB drive for a computer but not.
Well I had a shed load of them (floopies) in a storage box.
I don't think I will ever use the floopies as none of my IT have a floopy drive..
So my supplies are under "lock and key" for now, until my box gets too small.
A floopy disk? was that an integral part of the original babbage engine?
After nearly 50 years in the computer and IT industry that is a new one on me me.
Punch tapes & cards, cassette tapes, floppy drives, hard drives, optical disks, flash drives etc - I thought I had seen it all
I keep mine in the toddlers bedroom. Alongside the kitchen knives, guns, piranha tank and wolves with frickin lazers.......I believe strongly in darwinism
