I read all the posts stating it's not hard, watched hours of YouTube which made it look easy, bought a length of 0.2 kanthal and sat in the corner fighting the urges to scream loudly before hurling the bastard out the window. I did eventually succeed recoiling a Protank head though. It becomes so much easier with 0.3mm wire though, mainly because you can actually SEE the bloody wire.

Got it working...Fugly but serviceable,much like myself. Twin coil @1.3 with 50/50 red Astaire:worth it. Thanks everyone :-)

I started on a igo l few weeks back...perseverance I the key...am now dual coiling on a nimbus and trident clones and managing to coil my aga t3's....it does get easier...I love the whole process now, the missus prefers the davides so she has mine so it means I get to buy shiny things.
