Nitecore i4 charge. in what slot to use? 1,2 3 4

Good evening! A simple question.. i have a Nitecore i4 charger
And It has 4 battery slots, i have always used slot 1 & 2 when charging my 2x 18650 batteries for tha last 7 months. But i checked the website of the store atm and on their page it says always charge in slot 1 & 3 or use 3 & 4,

maybe some of you guys know why? Im confused.. i have always tought it should be in 1&2

I use 1 & 4 if only charging 2 batts

I wait until I've got enough dead battery's then fill my charger [emoji6]

Does it matter? Maybe it's something to do with balancing the charge more efficiently?

I wouldn't stress though. I'm sure it's not doing any harm

I use 1 and 2 as well. I can see no problem with this whatsoever!

I only use mine when ive got 4 batteries to charge .......
