Nitecore SC4 vs XTAR VC4

These are two nice looking 4 bay chargers from two big brands, which is better?
Also, do these have some of the authenticity measures that some brands like Geekvape use (hologram and code)?

I have the d4 and the i8. But... are they better? Absolutely no idea. I think it would be extremely hard to compare.

Which ones do fogstar stock? Stands to reason that the battery experts would know a thing or two about battery chargers

They probably both charge the batteries just as good.

The VC4 is rock solid but will only charge at 0.5a on all 4 bays. And make sure you use a quality USB charger otherwise charge rate can drop lower. Can't comment on the Nitecore.

I'd go for the Nitecore as it has 240v/12v DC/5v USB connections. It'll always be better on 240v.

VC4 I say. Never had any issues with Xtar gear.

I've always used the nitecore (i4 now D4)
As already said above, runs off the 240v mains.

I'm planning to pick one up the next time I'm in China so I want to do a bit of research ahead of time.
They are both Chinese brand and I don't want to pay UK prices.

They only stock XTAR but that doesn't mean anything. They probably prefer to stock items from fewer supplies to reduce storage space.
Chances are if you want a charger from them you won't care which brand they stock.

And in stock .. I got one of these from fogstar. It replaced a 4 bay nitecore i4 , springs on the sliders feel better on the xtar.
