And in stock .. I got one of these from fogstar. It replaced a 4 bay nitecore i4 , springs on the sliders feel better on the xtar.

The price on the XTAR VC4 is only a couple of pounds off from China. I didn't expect it to have free shipping.

They're both quality chargers. The XTAR comes with a USB cable which can be plugged into a 2.1v USB wall socket if you so wish. Or you can charge it via a laptop or power bank. The Nitecore comes with a wall plug but no USB cable so you can only plug it into the wall. However, the Nitecore can be used as a power bank to charge other things via USB like your phone, etc. The Nitecore will charge your batteries faster. Personally, I prefer the display on the XTAR. They both have their benefits.

Unfortunately, we have a joint account and she manages the finances. The upside is I don't deal with bills.

Are xtar can charge different types of rechargeable batteries. So get that one, and tell your wife it’s a all purpose purchase for the house.

I have only ever had a 2 cell charger and now need more capacity like a 6 cell charger but I want one with a normal UK plug that can charge all the 18650s in one go. USB connections are fine but I dont want something that has to utilize both to charge the batteries. Im not sure if I have asked the correct thing but have seen chargers that you need to usb and normal plugs to connect to charge everything. What would you recommend.
