NOOB! Harsh throat hit on DIY e juice first batch?

Its 18mg/ml nicotine shots so the 8.33 ml seems right for a 50ml batch :/ the formulas add up to me ? Could it be the custard element of the rubard and custard concentrate? Ive heard custard type flavours require stupid steeping time upwards of 2-3 weeks?

Could be, i have never mixed custard myself but even some shop bought custards require steeping.
Have you tried a pre made rhubarb & custard?

Thats my plan for tomorrow going to buy a custard type juice from the local vape shop and probably get a fruit one aswell just to test them both in my new setup, i wanted a lower ohm coil setup aswell but i thought i would try my 0.7 to see if it improved the taste im an idiot

I love the r&c sweets but dont like the vape, almost tastes chemical and catches my breath (much like pear drops do)
Some vape shops will let you try a bit before you buy so may be worth asking, and some juices will taste better at different watts so may be worth having a fiddle with that[emoji16]

I don't think you've steeped it enough mate. Any creams I make take weeks to settle and apparently custards take longer.

I'm quite sensitive to harshness so even leave my fruits for about a week.

For the sake of balance, I have a custard mix that I make and vape a whole lot of and it it tastes just fine as a shake and vape so not all custard mixes require ridiculous steeping times.

6% Vanilla Custard - CAP

4% Vanilla Bean Gelato - TFA

3% Ethyl Maltol - TFA

2% Bavarian Cream - FW

I make it at 75/25 and 3mg Nic and its good to go, straight away. This may not suit everybody and taste is obviously a subjective thing.

It could also just be the concentrate buddy. Ive tried a fair few and different brands vary in quality. The makemyvape stuff was ones i didnt enjoy at all. If you like rhubarb dripworx did a one shot called CRMBL this stuff is unreal and you wont need to mess about mixing flavours
