noob question

So I entered the world of mixing happy days

I used the vendors calculator for a 24 mg mix (using a vg 72 pg base) all good followed the calculation. Left it steeping for 24 hours decided to try it to check the flavour (I like my flavour and a lot of it). the Nicotine gave me a head rush.

Question is if I followed the calculation and its giving me a head rush it would appear to be higher? Would this settle as it steeps? or am I expecting to much from shop bought juices?

I'd check the numbers with the mixing cal on here, second opinion wont hurt. If you've been using a number of vendors for juice they carn't all be wrong ? one thing I noticed when i started dripping i droped from 18mg to 6mg almost over night that could be a factor ?

Quick and easy reckoning: your 24mg juice ought to be 1/3rd nic base. If that is what you have in your juice, then that is what you get. But what seems like a nicotine rush may not necessarily be that: encountered an almost identical question on another forum this morning, and it turned out that (to me) utterly outrageous quantities of menthol had been thrown into the mix. Over-doing the flavourings can give effects that would feel rather similar to a nicotine rush.
