What is joy? Is it really joyful?

It's pretty good, it has some of that yeasty dough taste, and it's sweet with a little spice.... it does taste a lot like doughnuts but it's more like fried batter to me, it has quite an oily mouthfeel which kind of adds to the effect that's it's been fried.

if you wanted to make a deep fried pineapple fritter, I think it would work for that kind of thing.

Ah I wouldn’t like it, I fear. Didn’t like zeppola it tasted like dampness. I recall now somebody talking about this joy.

I though recently to try mixing some zeppola again and see if I got on better with it but I got the fear.

Shame as well, I’d quite like to mix something up that tastes like this. That was my initial plan with the zeppola.
