It's pretty good, it has some of that yeasty dough taste, and it's sweet with a little spice.... it does taste a lot like doughnuts but it's more like fried batter to me, it has quite an oily mouthfeel which kind of adds to the effect that's it's been fried.
if you wanted to make a deep fried pineapple fritter, I think it would work for that kind of thing.
