Ok- couple of (premature?) results

I'm new to mixing, did a couple of mixes a couple of weeks ago, we're a success. Just done a few more a couple of days ago. Tried 2 tonight, both vg60/40pg, 12mg nic 10ml with 15% flavouring from concentrates. First was Lemberry cooler by pink spot, the other was lemon sherbet by decadent vapours. Not horrible, but both have a very weak flavour. Do I leave them a week or two or do I make up stronger mixes now? Many thanks.

i'm fairly new myself,but it seems mixes usually start off strong/sharp and mellow out over days-weeks.
Seems to be borne out with my mixes anyway,doesnt seem ideal if they start weak .

I wouldnt make any decisions immediately after mixing anyway...wait and see if they've changed tomorrow ..after water bath if your doing that.

its all very subjective...some folk mix and vape on the same day,whilst i've seen others suggesting 2 months steeping for some stuff.

I found that some flavours needed lots extra percentages added to taste,and others needed reduced as they were just too strong.As I run 0.1x RDA's,I do find that I have to increase the amount of flavouring to "overcome" the additional air flow.

 

[South Coast Vaper]

Mixed some DV Lemon Sherbet last night. I have to say that the smell of the concentrate was not what I was expecting. A very chemical smell which when mixed and left to steep 25 hours still smells very similar and not of a nice lemon sherbet. I've not had the bottle (no pun intended) to put any in the dripper as of yet and was mixed at 12.5% in a 50/50 at 12mg. Fingers crossed as this was the one I want as an ADV.

I'm gonna leave my one for a week or two, see if that helps. If that fails I'll up it from 15% flavouring to 20 next time. The flavour seems quite nice, just very muted. Let us know when you try yours South Coast Vaper

I mixed up a pink spot blueberry Mojito last night at 10%, approx 60/40 with 8mg nic and I haven't been able to stop vaping it all day. I might add a little more flavour but would actually be quite happy with it as it is if I had bought this premade.

Scrumpox left a really useful concentrates table on my "Sweetener Differences" post earlier. Well worth a look as has most of the concentrates percentages on there as a guide.
