So after abandoning my idea of supporting my local shop I went to the other end of the spectrum and ordered 3 utterly huge bottles of One Hit Wonder directly from the manufacturer....
Price with conversation all three 180ml bottles came to a total of £115 (with a coupon for about £3.50 off muffin man) Free tracked delivery
within 9 days I had a customs note popped through my door, and thanks to kind wording of the label the royal mail carrier charge was more then the import tax.
When I opened the package I was immediately hit with an overwhelming muddle of sickly sweet scents from my three purchases Milk Man, Muffin Man and Rocket Man so much so it actually put me off the idea of tasting them. One Hit had however included an extra 15ml unicorn bottle of Muffin Man, which while I had secretly hoped they would of made it a taster of My Man, but still a lovely gesture!
Anyway the off putting scent soon gave way to a mix of curiosity and nicotine neediness, I went with the flavour I had seen nothing but rave reviews about Milk Man, so confident that this would be my clear favourite I not only got my velocity coiled up on a dual 0.4 setup I also slammed a full tank on for good measure..... I eagerly awaited the gorgeous flavour so many had promised... What did I get, overwhelmingly sweet almost unlovable chemical strawberry with an unbalanced hit of cream that made me give up and de construct both my tank and dripper, rip out the entire fresh coil and wickage, rinse and scrub away the memory. I would return to this after a two week steep and holy hell am glad I did, it's matured into a beautiful fresh strwaberry with a perfectly blended cream, it's as smooth as silk no throat hit, even on the most restricted airflow! Obviously the trauma of its long shipment and "delicate" manner of how the carriers had handled my precious package had taken its toll on my poor little gem of a juice
Mufffin Man, was the second attempt at One Hit, and with having the bonus of an already full unicorn bottle it seemed the natural second option, I did shoot Rocket Man a curious side glance but decided the crystal clear liquid my need time to settle being used to a deeper colour on my liquids. The second I took my first cautious vape on Muffin Man I was indeed in love, a gorgeous fresh apple hit that once it hits the back of the throat the saliva glands start kicking in, its not often I get that reaction from a juice but got to say I could easily get used to it! Then comes a warming cinnamon tingle, nothing overpowering or harsh it just follows on naturally from the apple with a subtle hint of muffin in the background of the exhale. Definitely an all day vape for me! Even with the sniffles the flavour was spot on.
Later on that night after another few exploration sniffs I decided I would take a chance with Rocket Man, my reservations were unfounded, the light colour was not an indication on flavour. Utterly bloody gorgeous straight out the attractive plastic tube it arrived in, a fabulous blueberry inhale that once it hits the back of the throat turns into a refreshing greek yoghurt, then on the exhale the granola undertones pop in to give a surprising depth to the vape.
Verdict, It lives up to the hype, 2 weeks on and all the One hit Wonders are only getting better over time. Yes, its a ball ache ordering from the states and with the tax applied it works out only marginally cheaper to get it from a uk supplier, but the nice little touches from one hit makes me want to reorder through them regardless. I know it'll only be a matter of time before I cave and order a vat of My Man. All the juices are made with such high quality ingredients, you can literally feel the naturalness of the nicotine, it will however, eat through coils like a monster due to the high level of sweetness, if you are on an rta not a huge issue if you are buying the pre mades it could see you swapping out coils every 5-7 days (varying between set ups obviously) All were tested on both rdas and tanks and honestly no matter what your set up you will get a decent vape out of this juice line.
