One shot shelf life

I've just received an order from nom nomz which included a one shot of generals juices, war and peach.
And on the back it says that it was born on 4th March 2018.
I've always thought juice has a shelf life of a year but I heard that when I first started vaping and thought that this went for everything juice related (except nicotine)
But when I rang the people at nom nomz, they said that they always recommend 2 years.
Has anyone got any clarification on this?

If it smells good and vapes good it's safe to say its good :2thumbsup:
The plastic its in may taint after a while but as long as its suitability stored and not been subject to heat it will last a loooooong time.

There's no 'shelf life' for e-liquid so it's kind of impossible to clarify anything. I've vaped plenty over a year old though.

I'm pretty sure my BUNKR that I pull out occasionally for a DTL is over 2 years old and that has nic in and still fine.

Pretty sure by law, they need a "life" on them.

In reality, in flavour concentrate and eliquid too it means bugger all.

Flavour concentrate overtime may simply just get weaker.

Whereas eliquid overtime, just breaks down the nicotine content getting weaker.

I've some NomNomz that I didn't even realise they'd discontinued until a year after they'd stopped making it. I mixed it up.

It was divine, Richard even gave me the recipe to boot :D

I've some 3-4 year old nic'd up custard in the car. I hate custard, but that stuffs delicious. Murderous on coils, but delicious.

I've since had a proper look at the writing on the back and they do recommend 12 months so I emailed Mr nomz and hes sending me a credit note that I asked for and he's not said anything about sending the old one back so I might as well give it a shot hey?
Here's a pic of the writing as I had to take one and expand it to be able to read anything!

I wouldn't be concerned about concentrates TBH - the main thing I've noticed with eliquid that's vintage is that it loses viscosity and gets rather thin, still vapes fine. I've got some fairly old stuff in the cupboard that's like tar, nom, nom, nom.

I would imagine that, over time, the flavour balance might change, as different concentrates might degrade at different rates.

But how would you put a time limit on it? I don't know.

I mean, how long were the various concentrates on the shelf, since *they* were "born", before they were mixed into the one-shot? Are all the base concentrates "single" flavours, or are some of them flavour combinations themselves?

How far down the rabbit hole do you go?

Just vape it! :)

You've got a one shot you bought to use?
I take it you havn't bought it to sit on the shelf for six months before using?
It was made on 04/03/2018 and its 11 months old with lets say for arguments sake a 12 month shelf life so its still good to use.
What was the reason for issuing a credit note?

I feel like I'm missing something here!

It says on the back that it was made on 4/3/18 and also on the back that it should be used within 12 months.
I wasn't going to take a chance that it was still good when I paid full price for it so asked for a newer bottle or credit note as I use them regularly.
I asked on here if it would be OK to use before I saw the use within 12 months bit as it was in tiny writing.
