Ordered starter kit - need advice on 0mg juice/liquid/stuff!

Hi all,

Am I glad I found this place...been researching online for about a week and needed a final push to actually order a starter kit, which I have now done (VE Riva 1100 - do I sound like I know what I'm talking about??!)

However, there's no liquidy stuff in said kit, so I need to buy some of that too.

I stopped smoking three weeks ago, cold turkey and want to stay off nicotine, but the need to have something er…in my mouth…is overwhelming. Before I wear my teeth out – I appear to have replaced a 10-a-day rollie habit with a 1-a-day biro one! Vaping seems like it will be a good distraction and I am quite excited!!</SPAN></SPAN></SPAN></SPAN>

So my question is: where do I start with zero nicotine juice? I have had a look around and noticed that not all vendors do 0mg strengths. Ideally I guess I would like a selection of flavours – like a pick & mix type thing – but the ones I’ve seen aren’t 0mg.</SPAN></SPAN>

If anyone has any ideas, I would be hugely grateful! Also, is there anything I need to know about types of juice (is that the same as e-liquid?) for my Riva whatsit?

Most likely all the vendors sell 0mg liquid as well. My advice is to buy a bottle of 10mg as well and mix a little with the zero nic. That is what I do, it results in 3 to 5 mg nic. Reduce the nic gradually.

Thank you so much for your speedy reply! I did have a quick look at those - in fact the only reason I didn't order them was the 'made to order' factor - but I think maybe I was being impatient...and I ordered the Riva from them too. Feel a bit silly now!


And I had wondered about making my own - so that's very helpful, off to have a read up!

The act of vaping should help satisfy those cravings you have. The nic is completely out of your body and you shouldn't put it back in if you don't have to!




Grizwald's juice is very good on our Wiki his his guide to mixing as well, which can be a bit daunting, but as you aren't using nicotine, you only need 3 things

If you are happy vaping 0% then definitely stick with it. I would imagine any of the juice makers would be able to help and most of their stuff is really good stuff but mixing your own would be the most fun and there are some brilliant flavours

Since you have managed to stay on 0mg for 3 weeks, you should stick with 0mg, but it is still a good idea to keep the 10mg handy because ex-smokers often start smoking again when under stress. If you have this 10mg handy, then if you ever feel you really need a cigarette, you can add a little of it to the 0mg. This will keep you away from real cigs.
