Orieco Storm-A Quad Coil

Trying out a quad coil on the Orieco Storm-A, 28g 5/6 wraps on each coil 2mm drill bit0.3ohms, 2 strands of kanthal to build the 4 coils wrapped on the atty, tasty vape, PITA to build. Drinks the juice, medium clouds. Any suggestions?

You have to score point for that ! It's not exactly the easiest atty for building into. Well done man.

For the record, when i had one (Very short lived affair) ,mine drank a lot of juice wit a twin coil set up, i suspect it's a trait of this atty.

You work looks great. That quad set up is going to be a great vape. Better call your juice supplier. They are thirsty little buggers.

Don't get me wrong its a good atty, even better since i drilled the 3 holes on each side into 1 long port, but it just doesn't inspire me to build on it, everything is just a little bit too awkward and since i melted the insulator a bit the centre post spins too easily meaning i have to hold the bottom section with the needle nose pliers while tightening it down and 1 slip and its an entire build messed up...

Thanks, yeah im seriously thinking of making my own as i'm getting through 30-50ml a week lol, ive started halfing some juiced and topping up with VG as i was getting a little nic overloaded....

I think you'll have some fun with it. I thought it was a nice quality little item for the price range & it did toot like a nutter, no two ways & requires some finesse to set it up just right.

Well, I'll have a bit of a play and see what I think
I got it mainly for the mod it came with to be honest, but the RDA is a bonus as you can never have enough! (So far, the list is at... 4?)
The cyclops airhole was something I was already planning actually I've just got to figure out how to do it without a drill.

Looks great,, tho to much ball ache for me to squeeze four coils in there, the two coils i run with is enough for me.

Perhaps a thread asking for reviews of cheaper Rda's with the guts to withstand sub-ohm builds,as both my RDA's that cost under £20 have melted insulators around their centre posts?
