It was only a matter of time before a device was used as or seen as akin to an offensive weapon. I remember being alone on a London street a few years ago and feeling threatened by a group of lads hanging about. I had to walk past them and I remember gripping my mod (a SS Screwdriver) in my jacket pocket thinking if they start one of them was going to get it in the neck. Irrational maybe. Nothing happened. But it could have. Not constructed or adapted for use as a weapon but if used as such it would be considered a weapon. These guys weren't charged with a specific weapon offense as they were up for affray which is more serious but it would 'aggravate' the offence if a weapon was used or threatened. I'd like to think that if I was mugged and I clocked my attacker with a mod, the law of self defence would apply but I can see this issue arising again at some point as many of us walk about with heavy steel tubes capable of causing injury if used offensively.

To be fair, having owned a Vamo I think it would come off worse for wear when being used as a weapon, they aren't the most durable of devices as e-cigs nevermind batons.. I think I would be more afraid of someone smashing a VTR into my face, those things are like bricks!

vaporsizer if it breaks on first use and is unfit for the intended job, then the MoD would love to buy it!
They keep spending money on the same barriers for letting vehicles on and off base, needless to say, any time there are strong winds they snap, been replaced about 4 times since crimbo!
