Pink nic?

I have nic in vg and nic in pg and both are crystal clear. Wouldn't that stuff there in the pic be either aged or not stored properly?

I have some in vg that is a little bit pink but I haven't found that it tastes bad at all.

A few years ago I had a bottle of nic about 5 shades darker than that and it vaped fine so I wouldn't worrie about it

What causes it to go pink though?
I believe its oxidisation Tazz? I got mine from a group buy on here, chap has a business account and bought 10l to split - it was crystal when I got it but changed slightly over a couple of months sitting in a dark cupboard. It's good though, I only use it for original Manabush shortfills to bump the VG ratio a bit as they're 50/50 and PG Nic would make it PG heavy.

I thought it was oxidisation through exposure to daylight. Mine's in the freezer in amber glass. I don't suppose air exposure does it any favours either.

For what it's worth, my nic has been stored in a cupboard as I don't have room in my freezer, and it has darkened in colour over the years like Matty's above, but there is absolutely no peppery taste or smell, just the usual slightly wheaty smell.

It's funny, when I go to vape meets there are a few people there who's vape smells a bit peppery, but mine is fine.

mine goes pink out of the freezer after a month or two of opening and closing, it's never effected the taste.

I couldn't keep mine anywhere other than the fridge. We get days and have had a few lately that even with the air con flat out it still gets to 27c. Have it stored in the freezer, about 20 X 50ml glass bottles. The ones I use for immediate mixing are kept in the normal fridge section at 3c.
