there is a lot to take in at first but the most important is to keep you off the cigs.

a quick back story. you mentioning you could get 30ml a few months back and now its all 10ml
this actually took efect back in May 2016 when the tpd law changed. everything was 10ml for quite a while except for the illegal stuff being sold on ebay and market stalls.
the 10ml are with nicotine in and zero nicotine wasnt included in the new law so in the last 18 months everyone has started selling shortfills which mean a 60ml bottle with 50ml of zero nicotine juice and then you add a legal 10ml 18mg nicotine shot to it to make 60ml of 3mg strength.
so there are still plenty of suppliers out there.

these are worth a look.
drip drop do 40 flavours in their 10ml range at £2 each but they also do 100ml shortfills at £10 each pluss theres a 15% dicount code on here.
ive been using them since i gave up in 2015 and they are one of my mush haves.

give us an idea on flavours you like and we can point you in the right direction.

The flavours I've got/tried are mainly baking flavours. Cookies, butterscotch, popcorn, haven't really tried any fruity flavours except my mate got me a bottle of Zeus Dimpleberry (which I think is raspberry, black jack, menthol ish) but I don't *think* this is best for my sub ohm? It's 50vg? It hurts my throat a bit..

I always smoked with menthol filters but I'm not overly keen on vaping menthol

I'm UK based and I think the ones I have are UK based juices - although I've just checked the bottle of my 30ml juice and the exp date is 2016 but I certainly bought it the latter end of last year!! Talk about cheated! I hope it's still ok to use...? But yeah this is a UK based product.

I get paid next week so I'll be looking to stock up. Can you recommend any UK based brands? Although the american imports do look well priced...

finding your vape liquid will probably take a fair amount of experimenting, either intensely frustrating OR part of the fun of vaping, depending how you view it (most of us vape nerds on here enjoy the journey and discovering new stuff, so you can guess which camp we're in!)

Personally I'd recommend trying out loads of the cheaper but decent juice companies until you get a feel for what sort of flavours you like (companies like Rejuiced, Drip Drop, etc), and don't be afraid to experiment as you might be surprised with what you think you're going to like versus what you actually do like!

Another option is to go boldly into a vape shop that has a testing station, and ask to try out lots of juices! I still do this occasionally when bored, I just make sure I buy something to have justified all the hassle, hahaha!
