We've all seen the PHE news and there are many positives from it.

The press have, annoyingly but understandably, latched on to the recommendation that ecigs become available on prescription. After all, we've been drip-fed bullshit for 5 years about renormalisation of smoking, and encouraging youngsters who will then take up smoking blah blah and now this?

Not only has a government health agency told the truth, sorry.. given the facts based on evidence, " they are actually suggesting taxpayers should foot the bill for getting these lazy arsed leprous good for nothing smokers to give up?!?".....this is I'm afraid ...news for the masses

Gerry Stimson was interviewed on BBC News today. Catch a repeat if you can. He speaks about the suggestion ecigs becoming medicinalised very well.

In the meantime I found this blog and found it difficult to disagree with any of it

The only bit I'd argue against is the notion that there needs to be help for those who can't afford to get "on the ecig ladder".

They smoke, they spend a mint on fags - they can afford a mod, atty and some juice.

Funnily enough, after rewatching it without kids interrupting I heard that last bit and yes, agreed

Junkies have been getting methadone on prescription for a long time.

What if the vape recipient has worked all their lives?

Take your tax payer shit on the fucking heroin leeches.

You sound like Ian Duncan Smith's mate tbh

Kudos to Gerry Stimson.. cut through the media hype bullshit and got to the core issues.

Consumer lead, the importance of variety/choices and the element of 'fun' versus 'boring' medication.

All we need now is for the government to concentrate on the core issues and apply them effectively when transposing the TPD.. unless TW win their case of course, in which case the TPD might end up getting passed back to the European Parliament to recompose.

Now THAT would be good news. ;)

Wouldn't it? The danger with focusing on the prescription route is once again labeling smokers as in need of medication. I'm not fucking ill I tell ya!

Who does?
You.

Chirping away like the only tax payer on earth.

Like I posted what if someone worked 50 years ?

Not entitled to a prescription?

What about the smack heads and there free methadone?

You should narrate the next series of benifits street

Stay Tory yea

And why delete a load of my original post when quoting?
