Please don't try and turn my ecig into NRT

Oh dear, I would have asked for those posts to be removed myself.
Well everyone is happy now I guess.
Must remember to keep my pants on tonight, I made a terrible mess in the hotel the other day.
Nah, I stand by what I say .

If I'm wrong I apologise.

My main points stand :)

Getting a warning for abusive triads calling someone a clown and the warning calls ya Twat is a bit ironic no?

Maybe need to reword the warning if it's as abusive if not more than what your being warned over!

It's all good here, I respect the mods here, except that Moresly. He has issues.

Fixed.

And those issues are with the egregious use of "your" instead of "you're". I'm always on the hunt for those who make that mistake so that I can then discount any opinion they then express.

On Planet Mawsley there'd be instant permabans for transgressors.

Certainly been an interesting day for vaping and ecig use.

Medical angle is cause for some concern, but overall its nice to get a clear message out.

From what i can gather from all the noise, is that there will be some sort dual regulation, low nic juice will be left to the free market, and high nic 'smoking cessation devices' will be regulated as a medicine.

If true, its probably the best we can hope for as hobbyists vapers.

The only bit I'd argue against is the notion that there needs to be help for those who can't afford to get "on the ecig ladder".

They smoke, they spend a mint on fags - they can afford a mod, atty and some juice.

At current prices yes but after tpd implementation vaping (somewhat useless) tpd approved products will most likely be more expensive than smoking and the products being less efficient on nic delivery mean people will need loads of costly carto refills. Those cigalike things already cost up to a tenner or more in a pharmacy or supermarket, imagine the cost of them when they become the only choice. Because of the price and useless nature of tpd approved products many more people will dual use, this obviously carries a much higher cost burden to the user.

I do though think the prescription debate is a smokescreen, efforts should be concentrated on exposing the de facto ban element of tpd: the banning of virtually all tank systems & most of the currently available juice and flavour options. I started on 36mg juice, if I was forced to start on 20mg max I'd still be smoking.

Even if there is to be a substantial watering down of tpd by the UK Government there is the rule in article 20 that allows for other countries to challenge it. The EU bureaucrats will no doubt make sure that happens, with a lot of help from Labour MEPs who have always hated vapers and vaping.

Then that's their choice, as is their choice not to quit now and fill their boots with Gen 3 equipment. To be honest, just between us, I couldn't give a flying fuck about people who choose to continue smoking.

Pregnant women do some weird shit, don't they?
My wife was evidently up all night cleaning the kitchen and tidying the living room, which is why I'm trying to keep the noise down so she can get some sleep and subsequently why I'm sat here reading this thread in the same boxers I slept in.
Still, it's nice to see a popcorn thread resolved relatively amicably.
