So on recommendation received in here i have just taken delivery of a new Istick 30w .
Now i can adjust the voltage and wattage .

I am using it with a Protank 3 which fits it like a glove .
The Istick is on charge right now so not vaped it at all yet , Question is what should i be setting the voltage and wattage at ?
What does it mean ?

It also displays something about the coil , what is that all about ?

The instruction manual is limited to say the least .
Thanks

Dan

Firstly, well done on getting the istick 30w, I have one and think it's great.

Secondly, you set either wattage or voltage, not both. You set one and the other is automatically adjusted.
The bit about the coil is the resistance and is used when calcualting the voltage or wattage, using ohm's law.

I would suggest getting familiar with ohm's law to understand a bit better, then look at this to gain an understanding of the initial settings to try.

Ultimately, what setting you use is dependant on the resistance of the coil and your own personal preferences.

What tank are you using and what resistance is your coil?

EDIT: damn beaten to it.....

I think 3.6 - 4.2v - It depends on your taste though. (Ignore what I said about the ego batteries, I thought about something else when you mentioned the protank 3)

The coil thing tells you what resistance the coil you have attached to it is in ohms.

No idea about the watts setting to be honest as i'm new to this!

It`s the Protank 2 , No idea of the resistance .

when you attach the atty to the istick the istick will also tell you what resistance in ohm's the coil is. For 2.2 and alll of them really start low and build up slowly until you find the sweet spot. You will know from the burning taste that you have gone to high! You shouldn't need to charge the istick before use it comes fully charged or should do. There are some graphs on line which show this sort of thing if you wish to look for them.
