What's new

Please explain the diffreences and what each is for please

The Istick is saying it`s 2.6

There's going to be slight variations due to the quality of the resistance meter in the istick and the tank base itself is going to have a level of resistance. I wouldn't worry too much about that slight difference, if it varies greatly then try another coil. The istick shouldnt fire if there is a major problem with the coil.

So i have it set too 10w on the Istick . but i am not getting much vape at all .
Shall i increase the wattage ? ?

As tinkerbell says, keep upping the wattage until your happy. If it tastes burnt then its too hot, if you get there before your happy then maybe consider upgrading the tank. I'm sure you'll find a level before that happens though

Do you mean not much in the way of clouds? or taste? You could increase the wattage to see what happens. But clouds is dependent also on VG/PG content of the juice, the atty you are using. The worst that can happen is that you will get a burnt taste or you will blow the coil. Your not going to hurt yourself. What atty are you using and what coil?

The Vaping charts are all in volts could you switch the istick settings to volts? Yes the istick info is limited isn't it lol!

In terms of clouds . i have a spare coil so i will increase the wattage and see how that goes , i have the Protank 2 at the moment but i want to change that as i know there are better ones available for more clouds.
What is the best liquid to help with more clouds ?

Coil is reading 2.6 on the Istick .

What atty recommendation

What liquid mix ?

And thanks once again for all the help .

I have a protank 2 mini and I quite like this. I think I popped in a nature vape coil into my protank. I and lots of others like the nature vape coils as they give great flavour and clouds too. It is possible to buy the coils separately and pop them in cheaper atties. These need re wicking but that is easy. The site actually lists which atties they fit into! Fasttech also sell the RG200/400 attie cases which take a nature vape coil. This is the cheaper option.
As for other atties I have no other experience. But there are loads of reviews on atties here.

I can't recall of the top of my head whether it is higher pg or vg which gives good clouds.

The clouds will be limited as you are using an atty and not sub ohming or using a dripper. Those are the things that produce the huge clouds. These things need re coiling and re wicking blah blah.

How is it tasting at the mo and are you getting enough nic?

Nicotine level is 12mg in the liquid i have and it tastes fine .
Can you link me to these things you talk of so i can look into buying some ?
Think i will have to go down the dripper route as i like huge clouds . i have it set too 15 watts , i tried 17 but it was burnt tasting so lowered it back to 15 .

Thanks
Dan

Glad to see it tastes fine!

FastTech - Gadgets and Electronics › E-Cigarettes › Clearomizers/Tanks
See also the RG 200. These come from the US via China or somewhere so can take a while. But are cheaper tanks.
The nature vape coils are a bit pricy but last for months and months so are worth it.
There are videos on how to rewick the NV coils too.

Good luck!

You won't necessarily need to go down the dropper route. I'm using a Subtank with the stock 1.2 ohm coils at around 22w on my 50w istick and getting great flavour and a good amount of vapour too!! Also using 100vg juice and I'm loving it at the minute.

A few notes for you.

The istick is known for firing higher than it actually shows on the display, it doesn't matter but it's worth knowing. You might have it at 15watts then say, but it might be putting out 18 watts for example.
Also the resistance display should only be viewed as a guideline because that's no accurate either, again, it doesn't matter but still worth knowing. Your device will be reading whatever is inbetween the electric circuit & the coil, including the coil.
If you want more vapour then a higher vg liquid will do that. I use a 50/50 pg/vg liquid & do get a decent mouth full of vapour but it really is peronal choice how anyone else likes it. There are a lot of vendors online who sell liquids with vg/pg ratio options & there is a miltitude of flavours to choose from & there are tons of variations of a lot of those flavours too.

Here's just one good vendor who offers those options... https://www.chefsvapour.co.uk/24-eliquids

There are plenty more vapers around here too who'd recommend good vendors, only you can decide what eliquid suits yourself. best of luck with it & don't be shy about asking for help or advice.
