Pre-mix

Hey people,

I've got 85ml of pre-mix 80vg/20pg 3mg nic from a mate of a mate of mine.

Now when I got it my mate told me to either mix 15% concentrate or mix 15ml concentrate.. He can't remember which he was told...!

Would it be 15ml in with the base to make it up to 100ml OR would it be 12.75ml in the 85ml bottle?

Anyone have an idea on which sounds right? I'm new to mixing my own liquids so any help would be great.

Hi it would be 15 ml of flavour concentrate,
However taste is subjective, Some of my mixes are 20% flavour and some 18%.
Really its "Suck it and see" also steeping makes a difference.
15% is a good starting point though

Also remember if you make 10 mil
85% would be 8.5 mil and flavour 1.5 mil would be 15%.
You could try a small batch 1st so if you dont like the flavour your not stuck with 100mil of nasty juice

Another tip is using an E Liquid calculator?

So there's no fixed rule as to how much I mix in? If I made 10ml would it basically be say 9ml base and 1ml concentrate? And then I could raise it to make the % more? Am I along the right lines?

Also I've had a go with a few calculators but they all seem need the base nicotine levels and bits like that?

Yes that's pretty much right no rule or limit it's just down to taste.
15% is still a good start.
My only downfall is having no patience for steeping.
I done a 15% before vaped it and it tasted weak then addded another 5% and left it for a week and it was too strong lol.
Tried and tested loads of variations and 18% was my sweetspot.

i find it dependent on the concentrate iff they smell really strong or i want be tight i put 15% but stopped being tight recently and gone back to 20%,
