I'll be totally honest, I'm always going to recommend practicing and improving your soldering technique as at the end of the day you still have to solder to the battery contacts and 510 tab/pin, I've found that this series of soldering tutorials helped improve my soldering skills to a level that is acceptable for our application.

I watched them, that guy is little to much like a living textbook but it is some great tips and learned a lot from it
