If you are anything like us - you find Christmas shopping and wrapping etc a real chore - so we have put out some curated Christmas packs - pre-wrapped for you for those last minute presents! Due to the nature of these packs - unless you specifically request otherwise in the comments section, they will be sent by courier - we will not automatically send these Royal Mail - more info on that further down ….
Christmas Closing - and shipping over Christmas.
We will be closed for shipping from Friday the 23rd December at 1pm - though we recommend if you are aiming to get your parcel before Christmas you order in advance of that! - we will be closed for production and shipping until Tuesday 3rd January 2023 - when shipping will start up again. You will be able to order over the Christmas period - but items will not be shipped until January the 3rd.
Last Post recommendation
If you are looking to get your parcel before Christmas we recommend ordering before the 18th December to be certain - though you may be ok after that (using couriers) - we do not recommend using Royal Mail at all during this period.
A Word On Royal Mail
This last few weeks has seen us incur a not inconsiderable amount of costs with parcels going missing or being exceptionally delayed by Royal Mail due to their strike actions. As a small business we simply cannot afford the losses caused by actions that are ultimately nothing to do with us. On top of this the claiming process for Royal Mail is deliberately obscure, as such we have taken the decision remove the option of Royal Mail from the site. For those of you (and I know there are a few) who simply don’t seem to be able to get packages unless it is sent via Royal Mail - you may request we use Royal Mail in the comments section of your order. However - please be aware that using Royal Mail at the present time is likely to cause significant delays to the arrival of your parcel - even if we post the same day. We will not replace missing parcels from Royal Mail until 3 weeks has passed - which is far longer and a bit more strict than our normal “don’t worry we will send it out again!” Inside a week - but the instances of this happening are so numerous now - we simply cannot afford to keep replacing products at this rate.
This does not affect our other shipping services.
